After a long, restful summer, I'm happy to announce that Fall is full of music!
Friday night, I'll be joining my buddy, Ron Atkatsh, from 8-11 pm at Marion Street Bistro and Brew House in downtown Lake City. Marion Street is one of my favorite local restaurants and I'm happy to be playing there again. Ron and I will be performing tunes from "Twists & Tangles" plus some really great cover tunes.
Monday, September 17th, I'll be heading over to St. Augustine for a songwriter's round at The Corner Bar hosted by David Besley and Bob Patterson. I LOVE writer's rounds and I'm so excited to be a part of this one! Music starts at 7 pm.
I'll be opening for Passerine Saturday, September 22nd at The Sandhill Stage at Prairie Creek Lodge in Gainesville. If you haven't seen Passerine, you really must (in the meantime, take a listen here). Seating is limited and reservations are highly recommended. To reserve, email email@example.com or call Freddie at (352) 317-7307. $20 suggested donation to benefit Alachua Conservation Trust and Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery.
October 6th and 7th I'll be returning to The Lake County Folk Festival. The festival takes place in Historic Downtown Eustis. It's a family-oriented musical event and the longest running FREE folk festival in the state of Florida. So many of my folk friends will be there. It's sure to be a fun weekend!
I hope you can make it to one of the upcoming shows! Thank you for listening to and supporting my music. It is such an encouragement to me!
I'm super-excited to announce that I'll be performing my very first house concert April 21st in Tallahassee. The concert will be hosted by George Gray. George is a wonderful singer-songwriter I met at last year's Will McLean Festival. You can check out his music here. I'll be performing along with the amazingly talented Kelly Goddard of The New 76er's. Here's the info if you'd like to reserve a seat:

Last fall I was honored to be a finalist in the Music4Macy Singer-Songwriter Contest. I'm happy to announce that I'll be returning to the Cox Capitol Theatre in Macon on Saturday, July 9th to perform at A Concert for Macy. This concert marks the official kickoff for the 2016 Music4Macy Singer-Songwriter Contest. All proceeds benefit The Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation and their efforts to find better treatments for and ultimately cure childhood cancer. The foundation was created to honor Macy Easom, beautiful little girl diagnosed with liver cancer who passed away at the age of five. You can find out more about the Foundation by visiting www.princessmacy.org. If you're in the Macon area come join us as we celebrate Macy's precious life, her love of music, and raise money to cure childhood cancer. Visit www.coxcapitoltheatre.com for tickets.

The event will take place at Stephen Foster Folk Culture State Park in beautiful White Springs, Florida Friday, May 27th - Sunday, May 29th. Get your tickets here.
It's going to be an awesome weekend! I hope to see you there!
Last Friday night at The Emerald Thread was so much fun! Many thanks to everyone who came out to hear Megan Webb, Matt Stanland and me performing our songs. It was The Emerald Thread's first ever songwriter's round and the turn-out was great!
For those of you who missed it, Shaun got some video clips of some of me doing a few songs. Enjoy!
I'm happy to announce that one of my newest songs, "Down to the River," was named to the top 10 of the Will McLean Song Contest! This is an annual contest that honors songs written about Florida. "Down to the River" is my first Florida song. It's based on my memories of growing up near the Ichetucknee River. Here's a video of early draft of the song filmed at the head spring of the Ichetucknee - one of my favorite places on the planet.
I can't wait to hear some of my favorite performers and discover new favorites at the festival. It's going to be an awesome weekend!
I am excited and honored to share the stage with this group of very talented singer-songwriters Thursday night. Mandy Rowden, a fantastic singer-songwriter from Austin, TX, is the featured artist of the night. It will be awesome!!!
Welcome! Here you'll find my notes on my adventures in songwriting and life in general.
