Hello Friends! After a long, restful summer, I'm happy to announce that Fall is full of music! Friday night, I'll be joining my buddy, Ron Atkatsh, from 8-11 pm at Marion Street Bistro and Brew House in downtown Lake City. Marion Street is one of my favorite local restaurants and I'm happy to be playing there again. Ron and I will be performing tunes from "Twists & Tangles" plus some really great cover tunes. ![]() Monday, September 17th, I'll be heading over to St. Augustine for a songwriter's round at The Corner Bar hosted by David Besley and Bob Patterson. I LOVE writer's rounds and I'm so excited to be a part of this one! Music starts at 7 pm. I'll be opening for Passerine Saturday, September 22nd at The Sandhill Stage at Prairie Creek Lodge in Gainesville. If you haven't seen Passerine, you really must (in the meantime, take a listen here). Seating is limited and reservations are highly recommended. To reserve, email sandhillstage@gmail.com or call Freddie at (352) 317-7307. $20 suggested donation to benefit Alachua Conservation Trust and Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery. October 6th and 7th I'll be returning to The Lake County Folk Festival. The festival takes place in Historic Downtown Eustis. It's a family-oriented musical event and the longest running FREE folk festival in the state of Florida. So many of my folk friends will be there. It's sure to be a fun weekend! I hope you can make it to one of the upcoming shows! Thank you for listening to and supporting my music. It is such an encouragement to me! This Sunday I’ll be playing a showcase as part of the wonderful High Springs Music in the Park Series. The event will be held at the High Springs New Century Women’s Club from 2 - 4 pm. I’ll be joined by Barbara Paul, a fabulously talented blues performer and Ellen Bukstel, an amazing Americana/folk singer-songwriter. I am quite humbled to share the stage with these ladies. They are both extraordinary talents. Best of all, the event free. Tips will benefit Relay for Life. The High Springs New Century Women’s Club is hosting a “Soup, Sandwiches and Sweets” luncheon prior to the show (11:30 am -1:30 pm) as a fundraiser for Relay for Life. Admission is $8.

I'm happy to announce that one of my newest songs, "Down to the River," was named to the top 10 of the Will McLean Song Contest! This is an annual contest that honors songs written about Florida. "Down to the River" is my first Florida song. It's based on my memories of growing up near the Ichetucknee River. Here's a video of early draft of the song filmed at the head spring of the Ichetucknee - one of my favorite places on the planet.
I can't wait to hear some of my favorite performers and discover new favorites at the festival. It's going to be an awesome weekend!
